Roc Nation Announces New Television Venture

Jay Z's Roc Nation LLC is the home of some of our favorite artists, such as Rihanna, DJ Khalid, Calvin Harris and MIA. The entertainment company has recently announced their venture onto the big screen, producing a television network. All scripted and unscripted content will be managed by the Weinstein Company's Patrick Reardon, who is the executive vice president of scripted and unscripted television for Roc Nation .

"Roc Nation is such an influential and dynamic company. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them as they expand their brand into television," Reardon said in a statement.

According to a recent press release, this latest television division has a number of upcoming projects in store for us, which will include an unscripted partnership with Amazon. However, Roc Nation's film and television resume isn't blank. Film work was released entitled " Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story" and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Another project aired on Spike TV, " Time: The Kalief Browder Story", earned a Peabody Award. Sean Carter is the executive producer for both projects.
