RHOA Phaedra Parks Ex-Husband Apollo Nida Engaged... In Prison

What is the normal travel time to get over someone? In certain cases, such as needing a place to stay once you get out of jail, it can happen sooner than you'd ever imagine.

For Apollo Nida, ex-husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, has tied the knot with someone behind those prison walls, where he was housed for a little over two years for fraud back in 2014. We've also heard that the new wife will be get to join the cast, along with Nida for the upcoming season of RHOA with their own storyline. Unbelievable, right? Poor Phaedra; guess love wins, even when you're behind bars.

According to the infamous blog Fameolous, Nida's fiancé Sherien Almufti is a real estate agent. The newly engaged couple have been dating for two years amidst his eight year sentence. The divorce between him and Parks has been finalized recently, which gave him the option to move on completely. Nida has only been engaged for a couple of months.

Parks recent opened up to her BFF Porsha Williams about her breakup with Nida, and mentioned his resistance with signing the divorce papers during Sunday's November 6th episode.

"I filed for divorce last year, and it has been a long, drawn-out process because Apollo has not wanted to get the divorce," the attorney and businesswoman said on the hit reality show. "I'm waiting for word on my divorce being final. I'm just hoping that we can get this resolved."

Parks - whom shares two children with Nida, Ayden, 6, and Dylan, 3 - was open to have Bravo capture her reactions on hearing the news of his new relationship for the newest season of RHOA.
